Health and Physical Education

Field of Study

Academic research at universities is conducted by identifying issues, conducting research, proposing solutions, and presenting the results to other people. This applies to the subjects of health and physical education, too. This is an academic field that helps students understand present health conditions, identifies the most appropriate exercises to accommodate future changes in environment and body conditions and investigates how the human body can be most effectively maintained through sports and daily exercise.

Policy

The key phrase is“optimization of exercise and adaptation to environmental changes through such optimization.” Sports training consists of practical instruction on health and physical skills. Students gain practical experience in appropriate exercise skills for different conditions and natural environments. Lecture courses focus on the theories behind the training. In seminar subjects, students carry out research and perform experiments in order to test or confirm established theories.
